The EHEIM miniFlat is a mini internal filter for terrariums and paludariums with shallow water areas or drinking bowls and is therefore particularly suitable for frogs and water-loving reptiles such as crabs. This unique small flat water filter is constructed differently from "conventional" internal filters: it does not hang, but lies horizontally in the water. It is attached to the pool floor with suction cups. From there it draws in the water, pumps it through a filter sponge and drains it out again at the top. The resulting surface movement makes the drinking water visible to reptiles. If you want to determine the outflow direction individually, you can also connect an outflow hose.

You can wash the filter sponge a few times, but you should replace it about twice a year to maintain consistently good water quality.
